Privacy Policy

Data We Collect

• Enquiry form: the topic you pick, your name, your phone or WhatsApp number, your email address, and your message.
• WhatsApp: if you message us, we receive the message, your number and your WhatsApp profile name.
• If you become a customer: your business or delivery details, and the name and address that go on your quotes and invoices.

We do not collect payment card details. We are paid by bank transfer.

Our Ventures

Each of our ventures has its own privacy policy for what it collects: Lakan Design.

Who Processes It

• The enquiry form does not submit to any server: pressing send opens WhatsApp with your message written out, and nothing leaves your device until you send it there.
• WhatsApp (Meta) carries the messages you send us there, under its own policy.
• Google Workspace hosts our email (sales@lakanventures.com).
• Zoho CRM and Zoho Books keep our customer, quote and invoice records, on Zoho’s United States data centre.
• Cloudflare serves this website and processes technical request data, such as your IP address, to deliver and protect it.

International Transfers

Some of the services we use store data outside the UAE: Zoho in the United States, and Google, Meta (WhatsApp) and Cloudflare on their global networks. We use them only to reply to you, serve you and keep the records the law requires. By sending us an enquiry or a message, you agree to that transfer. You can ask us what we hold about you at any time, and ask us to delete anything the law does not require us to keep.

How We Use Your Data

• Reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote.
• Deliver what you order from us.
• Invoice you and keep the records the law requires.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not perform automated decision-making or profiling.

Legal Basis

Steps you ask for before a contract (a quote), contract performance, legitimate interests, legal obligation, and consent where we ask for it.

Cookies & Storage

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking. When you open one of our ventures from this page, your browser tab keeps one note of that, so its footer can show our other ventures; it holds no personal data and is gone when you close the tab.

Retention

Data is kept only as long as necessary. Quote, order and invoice records are kept for 7 years after the end of the tax year they belong to, as UAE tax law requires.

Your Rights Under UAE PDPL

• Access, correction, deletion, and objection.
• Withdrawal of consent.

Data Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures. In the event of a breach, we notify the relevant UAE authority within 72 hours and affected users without undue delay.

Children’s Privacy

This site is not directed at individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.
