Drafted in accordance with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 (PDPL). Lakan Ventures L.L.C. operates Lakan Supply and is responsible for the personal data collected here.

Data We Collect

Your request for quotation, when you send it: the lines and quantities, the delivery emirate, your company name and notes if you add them, and the WhatsApp number or email address you send it from.
Enquiry form: the topic you pick, your name, your phone or WhatsApp number, your email address, and your message.
WhatsApp messages you send us — from the quote list, the chat pop-up or the enquiry form — with your number and WhatsApp profile name.
If you order: the delivery address and contact details for the delivery, and the name and address that go on your invoice.

We do not collect payment card details.

What Stays on Your Device

Your quote list is kept in your browser’s local storage, so it survives a refresh. It never reaches us until you send it, and you can empty it at any time — remove the lines, or clear this site’s data in your browser.
A BOQ you import is read by your browser. The file is not uploaded; only the lines it yields join your list.
“Download PDF” is made by your browser. We do not receive a copy.
Drawings are never sent through this site. You attach them yourself, in WhatsApp or by email.

Who Processes It

The enquiry form does not submit to any server: pressing send opens WhatsApp with your message written out.
WhatsApp (Meta) carries the messages you send us there, under its own policy.
Your email provider and ours carry requests sent by email.
Cloudflare serves this website and processes technical request data, such as your IP address, to deliver and protect it.
Couriers receive the delivery name, phone number and address for your order.

How We Use Your Data

Prepare and send your quotation.
Fulfil, deliver and invoice your order, and handle returns and warranty claims.
Keep the records the law requires.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not perform automated decision-making or profiling.

Legal Basis

Steps you ask for before a contract (a quotation), contract performance, legitimate interests, legal obligation, and consent where we ask for it.

Cookies & Analytics

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking. Besides the quote list above, your browser tab keeps one note if you arrived from the Lakan Ventures home page, so the footer can show our other ventures; it holds no personal data and is gone when you close the tab.

Retention

Data is kept only as long as necessary. Quotation, order and invoice records are kept for a minimum of 5 years for legal and accounting purposes.

Your Rights Under UAE PDPL

Access, correction, deletion, and objection.
Withdrawal of consent.

Data Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures. In the event of a breach, we notify the relevant UAE authority within 72 hours and affected users without undue delay.

Children’s Privacy

This site is not directed at individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.
